Daniel Dariusz Staniek is a Policy & Strategy Executive at Xjenza Malta. His responsibilities encompass a wide range of topics, including the European aspects of Maltese Research, Innovation, and Space policies, and the Smart Specialisation Strategy Implementation. Since April 2024, he is the Maltese lead delegate to the ESFRI Forum and the ERIC Committee. He possesses a Master’s Degree in European Studies and Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations. In the past, he worked in Brussels, i.e. for the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations of the European Commission.
